Games That Would Look GREAT With AI Upscaling

Resident Evil, Chrono Cross, Blade Runner are all games with pre-rendered 3D backgrounds that looked great in the 90s. But in this day and age, these low-resolution backgrounds detract from the experience. Here's how they would look if they were a bit more high-res.

These images of pre-rendered backgrounds have been upscaled with Gigapixel AI, a program that uses neural networks to upscale low-resolution images to a higher resolution. They are a proof-of-concept and are not in-game.  In most cases, these games cannot be upscaled, because their emulator or game engine doesn't support such mods.

These examples are there for others to make it technically feasible (by adding texture replacement features to PS1 emulators) or for the company who owns it to consider make an official remaster.

NOTE: If you have trouble seeing the differences, make sure you watch this on 720p or above.
